Bookkeeper Volunteer

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team.

Walk it out was created in 2021 to improve the health and well-being of females, to raise awareness, improve women's safety and empower young girls and women to stand up for themselves at home and in public.

We are an organisation passionate about enhancing the voice of the community, providing free activities and workshops tailored to build confidence, our goal is to empower ALL!

Due to the nature of our group where we work closely with vulnerable women we will be considering female applicants only for this role.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• To record our financial transactions and ensure records and statements are accurate and up-to-date.
• Be computer literate, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office and Excel.

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications

• Mathematics skills for accurate record-keeping.
• Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadline.

When do I need to be available?

A commitment of 2 hours a month is required, can be flexible to suit volunteer.
