Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support

Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support are looking for a volunteer to help raise funds.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of grant applications.
  • Identify potential funders.
  • Carry out research to support grant applications.
  • Help identify and organise other fundraising initiatives.

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Word, internet and email.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good research skills.
  • Flexible approach to working arrangements.
  • Have access at home to the internet and Microsoft Word.

Details

The role is for a minimum of 4 hours every other week. It involves some working from home and attending the office at least once per month on Monday or Wednesday morning. The minimum commitment period is six months.
