Do you have green fingers? Could you help us keep lovely garden and grounds looking neat and tidy?

We regard our grounds and gardens as a fantastic asset to our charity and working on them would be a great project for someone. Our members really enjoy sitting outside and love to see them looking their best.

To be involved with our project, you will need to have a


Main tasks and responsibilities

  • It will involve maintaining the beds of flowers, cutting areas of grass and sweeping leaves.
  • We are also looking for someone who can help us make the most of our garden and who would be keen to help with a vegetable patch and new plants and flowers.

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes , experience and qualifications.

  •  Keen interest in gardening,
  • Experience of using gardening equipment.
  • Reliable and caring.
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • We are seeking a volunteer aged 18 or older.

The Centre is open Tuesdays and Thursadys , hours are flexible, although we are looking for someone who can commit at least 5 hours a week.
