Hainault Forest Clean Action Day***

Vision Redbridge: Nature Conservation

Volunteering work days in Hainault Forest are all about supporting the forest management plan. Sessions are led by the community forest ranger who supervises the activity, providing advice and support when needed. Activities vary from week to week in response to what needs to be done on site.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Litter pick and fly tip clear up.
  • However moving into the winter months activities will expand into Forest clearance work and planting

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes, qualifications and experience

No specialist skills needed and no previous experience in forestry is required!

All you need is:

  • Interest in the outdoors.
  • Keen to learn new skills.
  • Outdoor boots and clothing is advised
  • Bring a snack if you intend to stay the full 2 hours. 
  • We can provide training on how to use equipment correctly.
  • Need to be 16+ years.

You can join the session when you feel like. There is no pressure to join regularly.
