Media & Outreach Volunteer

Redbridge Carers Support Service (RCSS)

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to develop and utilise their talent for marketing and media.  Is this you? with excellent communication and IT skills to help keep our website and social media up to date.  You will help produce leaflets, posters, and our quarterly Newsletters and e-bulletins.  This is a varied role including outreach events, where you will join staff and volunteers to raise awareness of RCSS and to help us engage and support more carers.  You will join our fun, friendly and varied volunteer workforce to make a real difference to carers in our communities.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Complete your RCSS induction
  • Create leaflets & Posters to promote RCSS
  • Help create newsletters and e-bulletins
  • Regular updates of twitter and other social media
  • Help update the RCSS website
  • Create and distribute e-surveys
  • Help to analyse survey responses/feedback
  • Events and outreach activities
  • Create content for local press and other media

When do I need to be available?

Morning Afternoon Evening

This opportunity is flexible allowing for work in the office during weekdays or at home in the evening or weekends to suit availability. Some weekday work required to ensure support and supervision/training.
