Online Mentor

Walk It Out

We are looking for online mentors to provide guidance, feedback and support, tailored to the mentee to help build their strengths so that they can successfully pursue their ambitions and overcome any challenges they may be facing.

Walk it out was created in 2021 to improve the health and well-being of females, to raise awareness, improve women's safety and empower young girls and women to stand up for themselves at home and in public.

We are constantly campaigning to end male violence against women and are committed to tackling crime through building community relationships.

“The best project you’ll ever work on is you!”

  • To build an effective short-term relationship with a mentee.
  • To liaise with your key point of contact and to provide feedback on your mentees’ progression.
  • To listen to your mentees and guide them to take the initiative to support themselves.
  • To keep effective written records of meetings using the forms provided and undertake relevant evaluations and training provided.
  • Ability to commit  to 2 to4 hours per month.

Benefits of Volunteer
