Outdoor Conservation Work Days

Vision Redbridge: Nature Conservation

We have a variety of volunteer conservation tasks throughout the year. We manage our park for wildlife. Some of these volunteer days could be considered as gardening jobs or a bit of DIY.

We mainly work at Claybury Park, Roding Valley Park and Fairlop Waters, but we occasionally work in Goodmayes Park, Seven Kings Park and Valentines Park.

  • Each season brings a different type of task, these may include tree planting, hedge laying, bulb planting.
  • Meadow management.
  • Flood management.
  • Invasive species management.
  • Painting and managing pathways.
