Main tasks and responsibilities

Talking to parents about childcare for under 5’s
Encouraging parents to access services in Redbridge
Help parents around you get support they need to improve their family life and their children’s outcome
Contribute to a non-judgemental, safe space and support families emotional wellbeing where needed
Listen to the needs of families and help them find items they require
Introducing families to new opportunities and activities through sign posting to local services and within the Children's Centres
To champion a co-production approach with families, other volunteers and staff
To comply with Redbridge Diversity & Equality Policy and our Ethical Policy in every aspect of volunteering and positively promote the principles of these policies amongst colleagues, service users, volunteers and other members of the community.
Volunteers will work will work at a local Children’s Centre nearest their home

Volunteers can choose AM or PM which is flexible Ideally looking for volunteers to give at least 4 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.

We limit the number of roles you can initially express an interest in to 3 opportunities. Please only register an interest in 3 roles maximum.
