Referral agency coordinator (Wednesday 10am - 2pm)

Hope Family Trust

Our food bank provides emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis, while campaigning for a UK without the need for food banks. Without our volunteers, selflessly donating their time, we simply would not be able to support the thousands of people in crisis.

Food bank vouchers are issued to people by Referral agencies (statutory and charitable organisations e.g. Citizens Advice or the Job Centre). People can then exchange their voucher for a 3 day emergency food parcel at a local food bank. This is a crucial liaison role, supporting and developing the food bank’s relationship with local referral agencies to enhance the service we offer.
