Shopmobility Assistant- Ilford Shopmobility

Are you friendly and outgoing, interested in meeting and supporting people from all communities and of all ages? Aged 18 plus? Confident speaking to people in person and on the phone?

Then come and join us at Ilford Shopmobility, where people with mobility difficulties come to hire electronic scooters or manual wheelchairs so they can get round Ilford town centre more independently.

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

The role involves administration as well as dealing with our members with care and consideration.

• Dealing with customers face to face and by phone.
• Taking messages for staff.
• Completing record forms to book out equipment.
• Taking payments/giving change.
• Maintaining equipment to a good standard, for example by carrying out general checks and cleaning.
